Columbia River Basalt Wall Rock

Columbia River Basalt is our signature stone.  It is native to the Pacific Northwest and can be seen in some of the oldest buildings in Portland and surrounding cities.  The wall rock is a rich gray color that features orange and yellow highlights on the sides and can be incorporated into retaining walls, water features and rockeries.  This basalt is also available in boulders, columns and split products.

• Small 25-75 lbs. -- 175 lbs. per cubic ft
• Large 75-150 lbs. -- 175 lbs. per cubic ft

Columbia River Basalt Wall Rock weighs approximately 175 lbs. per cubic foot and has an estimated coverage of 16-20 sq ft per ton.  It is available in two sizes: 25-75 lbs. and 75-150 lbs.
